2019-04-12 |
[ALMASDARNEWS] For the second time this month, a Syrian Arab Army (SAA) convoy has disappeared along the Palmyra-Deir Ezzor convoy. According to a report from eastern Homs, the Syrian Arab Army’s command in Palmyra lost contact with the convoy after it departed from the aforementioned city to Deir Ezzor. The Syrian Army sent a search party to find out what happened to the convoy; however, they were unable to find any trace of the vehicles or soldiers. A military source told al-Masdar this afternoon that the Syrian Army’s high command believes the convoy was ambushed by the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS). The Islamic State has been carrying out ambushes on Syrian military vehicles over the last two months; this has resulted in the death and capture of several soldiers. In response to these ambushes, the Syrian Arab Army has sent reinforcements to this front; however, they have been unable to quell these late night ambushes by the Islamic State murderous Moslems that are believed to be hiding out in the caves of the Badiya al-Sham. Since they lost their territories in central and eastern Syria, the Islamic State has switched its battle plan from attempting to capture ground to carrying out hit-and-run attacks against both the Syrian Army and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). |
