| Explosion kills 2 people in Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province | |

| [KhaamaPress] At least two people were killed in an kaboom in Jalalabad city, the bustling provincial capital of Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province in East of Afghanistan. According to local officials, the incident took place earlier today in the vicinity of 3rd police district of Jalalabad city. A front man for Nangahrar Police Headquarters said the kaboom was triggered by an improvised bomb which was planted in a police vehicle. The identities of the dear departed individuals have not been ascertained so far. No individual or group including Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... or ISIS loyalists has so far grabbed credit for the attack. The security situation in Nangarhar province has deteriorate during the recent years as both Taliban and ISIS loyalists are attempting to expand their foothold and insurgency in this province.
