| #6 Obviously a single purpose plane designed to excel in one mission is a BAD idea! What we need is more Multi-Role Aircraft that are mediocre, at best, in any role they are used for. The Bean Countersâ„¢ love them! |

| #5 Put Tactical Air back in the Army. It does seem a bit silly to go across organizational boundaries for essential services, especially when the justification for the split is the Treaty of Granada or whatever it was, way back when. |

| #2 Make Boeing and Lockheed and whoever else come up with a new A-10. Same design philosophy, no fighter mafia allowed. Only offer a contract to one with a prototype that meets ALL requirements. Then they get money. The way it was originally. |
