I pushed paper for a while on a ECM project for what was supposed to be the Blackbird. It would 'do everything except cook the pilot's breakfast'. | #4 Interesting that it was retired years ago and nothing has yet been said about whatever replaced it that allowed that retirement. Must be good. A victim of redundancy. Photo imaging, coverage, and dynamic system re-tasking have greatly improved. Other unmanned, 'non-air breather' systems have replaced it. |
