| #1 ...It should of course be kept in mind that nobody nowhere is going to get anywhere near 250M USD. There will be negotiations, handshakes, solemn declarations, and other legal kabuki - but if the lad's attorneys are what they say they are they'll happily sign it all away for CNN admitting that they'd screwed up and screwed up big time. (Think when NBC had to fess up for accusing GM trucks of being firetraps...and then, when they refused to explode on cue, rigged them to do so.) Mike |
