[KhaamaPress] More than twenty Talibs have been killed during the operations of the Afghan armed forces in northern Faryab and northeastern Takhar provinces, the Afghan Military said Wednesday.According to a statement released by 209th Shaheen Corps, a clash broke out between the Afghan armed forces and Talibs in Dawlatabad district of Faryab province.
The statement further added that 4 Talibs were killed and 3 others were maimed during the clash.
A separate clash also broke out between the hard boyz and security forces at around 10:20pm in Arkalik Village of Qaisar district in Faryab which left 3 hard boyz dead and another one maimed, the 209th Shaheen Corps said adding that an army soldier was also maimed in Dawlatabad clash.
In the meantime, the security forces carried out artillery and airsrikes as part of Toofan-24 operations and festivities also took place in Khamdan Village of Dasht-e-Qala dsitrict of Takhar, leaving 10 hard boyz dead and 4 others maimed.
