The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North in a statement said at least 7 Talibs were killed and 9 others were maimed after the Afghan armed forces repulsed an attack by Taliban

Teh statement further added that the Talibs launched attacks against the security posts in the central parts of Sar-e-Pul province in the early hours of Saturday morning which continued for one hour.

At least 7 Talibs were killed and 9 others were maimed during the hour long clash, the 209th Shaheen Corps said, adding that 3 security personnel also bit the dust and 4 others sustained injuries.

The anti-government armed Lions of Islam including Taliban have not commented regarding the clash so far.
