#8  So the Federal employees had to wait a few weeks for a paycheck? As I understand it, the Feds make more, on average, than the civilian sector. These people couldn't live one pay period without having to resort to food banks, massive charity, etc.?

And the pay check was delayed, not missed, IIRC.
