#2 over the past 20 years, Mexico's per capita GDP has grown much faster than that of the US - much of this is a result of NAFTA and investment in Mexico by US, Euro and Chinese companies of course there are still major areas of poverty and much of the middle class resents the wealthy AMLO probably doesn't understand much at all about what makes nations prosper (resembles Alexandria OC in some ways. If he can concentrate of reducing official corruption, especially in the police and industrial regulation, Mexico will do very well. If he gets into more socialist stuff, it will not |
