The statement further added that the attack was launched in Jardoq village but the holy warriors faced a quick reaction from the national defense and security forces. According to 209th Shaheen Corps, at least six holy warriors were killed and ten others were maimed during the exchange fire and an kaboom which was triggered by own explosives of the holy warriors. The anti-government armed holy warrior groups including Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... have not commented regarding the incident so far. Jawzjan was among the relatively calm provinces in North of Afghanistan but the security situation of the province has tanked during the recent years.
