Mosul car bomb attack left 3 people dead, 20 injured
Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) – The death toll from a car bomb attack that rocked Mosul city earlier in the day rose to three, while the number of the injured jumped to 20, the state-run security center said on Tuesday.
A booby-trapped car exploded early Tuesday in a marketplace in Qayyara, south of Mosul.
Iraqi troops arrest Islamic State’s food provider in Mosul
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Iraqi troops arrested on Tuesday an Islamic State militant who was tasked with providing the group with foodstuffs in Mosul city.
“Troops of the 20th division of the Military Intelligence Directorate managed to arrest the Islamic State’s food provider during an operation in Hamam al-Alil district in Mosul,” Baghdad Today website quoted the directorate as saying in a statement.
“An arrest warrant had been issued for the held terrorist pursuant to article 4 pf the counter-terrorism law,” the statement read.
