IHC suspends Axact man’s sentence |
2018-10-21 |
![]() In July, the Sessions Court of Islamabad had convicted Axact owner Shoaib Sheikh, Rizwan Shah and 21 others in the fake degree scam case and awarded 20 years imprisonment under different charges. Mr Shah challenged the conviction before Justice Athar Minallah. His counsel Raja Rizwan Abbasi and advocate Sohail Warriach argued before the court that the conviction was not sustainable since there was insufficient evidence to link the convicted persons with the crime. Shoaib Sheikh, the owner, has also challenged his conviction before the court. |
