#7  The demonstrator calls it a Mark 48 Mod 2. The article is from Military Times and was posted in the last 24 hours. It is an upgrade from a Mod 1, which was a pretty substantial redesign/upgrade of a Mod 0. This 'looks' like the main updates center on internal changes; it doesn't look all 'that' different externally (to me) from a Mod 1. But it has been a while. The Mod 1 was solid.

At 500+ rpm there aren't many single hits.
Generally used against clusters or to break charges. Sometimes to clear vegetation.(/sarc)
