[IsraelTimes] Authorities seize weapons, detain three, freeze funds of Centre Zahra La Belle France, started by anti-Zionist activist French police detained three people and seized weapons during raids of a dozen homes and the headquarters of a Moslem association based outside the port city of Dunkirk during an anti-terrorism operation early Tuesday, officials said. Authorities froze the funds of the Centre Zahra La Belle France, along with those of three other organizations and four men linked to the groups.
About 200 coppers searched homes and the headquarters of the association. Some French media reports said that Zahra La Belle France was a leading center for Shiite Islam in Europe ...also known as Moslem Lebensraum... and is suspected of links to Iranian-backed Hezbollah, based in Leb, and to the Paleostinian Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,. The information couldn’t be immediately confirmed. One Zahra La Belle France official cited in the order to freeze funds, Yahia Gouasmi, 68, told CNews TV channel that the weapons were solely "for the security of the center" and mainly belonged to Zahra La Belle France’s security detail. "Everything is false," said Jamel Tahiri, 43, also among the four whose funds were being frozen. "We’re transparent. Everything is on [the] Internet." Zahra La Belle France’s site describes the goal of the association as "to make known the message of Islam through the regard of the Prophet and his family." The Zahra Centre La Belle France was founded in 2009 by Gouasmi, who has spoken in support of Lebanese Islamist group Hezbollah and the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Gouasmi is also the founder of the Anti-Zionist Party in La Belle France and is an associate of controversial comedian Dieudonne M’bala M’bala, a convicted anti-Semite. The raids on Tuesday were staged as part of the "prevention of terrorism" procedures, regional authorities said in a statement. Police have been closely following the activities of the Zahra Centre "because of the strong support by its leaders for several terrorist organizations and in favor of movements backing ideas that are contrary to the values" of La Belle France, a statement from local authorities said.
