Iraqi Justice Ministry: death sentences against 7 IS members carried out |

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Justice Ministry has announced carrying out death sentences against seven convicts over involvement in terrorism. In a statement by the ministry on Monday, the ministry said the sentence was carried out "after legal measures were taken and a presidential decree was issued." The convicts, according to Haidar al-Zamli, the minister, "belonged to Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference.
