| Seven civilians killed, injured in armed attack, northeast of Diyala |

| Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Seven people were killed and injured in an armed attack, northeast of Baquba, Diyala province, a security source said on Thursday. "Unidentified button men opened fire against a vehicle carrying seven people on Baquba-Muqdadiya road," the source told Baghdad Today website. "Two people were immediately killed, while five others were seriously injured," the source said adding that the button men fled toward unknown destination. The injured were taken to hospital for treatment, while the victims were transferred to forensic medicine department, according to the source, who preferred anonymity. |
