| YPG ambushes Turkish-backed rebels in Afrin, 4 killed |

| [AlMasdar] The According to the YPG’s Press Office, their forces ambushed a group of Free Syrian Army ... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... (FSA) inside the Afrin region’s Shera District, killing four of the rebels in the process. "On September 3rd, our forces carried out a successful action in the Mariamin village of Afrin’s Shera district, targeting a military vehicle belonging to the Liwa al-Shamal mercenary fraction." The YPG also managed to confiscate the belongings of the FSA fighters, which alowed them to identify the rebels killed in the attack. "As a result, all 4 mercenaries in the vehicle were killed. Their names are as follows: Abdoulkarem Shihade (from Homs), Dibo Ismail (Aleppo), Omer Heshesh (Idlib) and Muhammed Mustafa (Menagh)."
