According to the communique, the Russian military took over the hilltops of Taloul Himr, which are located just west of the Beit Jinn area. The Russian military took over these hilltops near the occupied Golan Heights after the Syrian Arab Army established full control over the Beit Jinn area. The Syrian Arab Army’s Beit Jinn operation began shortly after the Syrian Arab Army captured the entire West Ghouta region last year. |

| #1 I thought Netanyahu met with or spoke to Putin recently, but I can't find it on the internet and it may have been scrubbed. Otherwise, Russian involvement in protecting the Golan sounds like a good idea for several years - what you might have wanted from a coherent UN. |
