As pro-Palestinian pols win primaries, Progressive US Jews ask if it's ‘a wave or a ripple'
2018-08-19
[IsraelTimes] In recent weeks, three Democratic candidates highly critical of Israel have won elections; Jewish Democratic leaders deny a broader trend.
Because they're idiots, ignoring trends in Labour Socialist party politics throughout the West. Jewish Republican leaders are considerably more clear-eyed, which goes unmentioned in the article.
This summer has been a good one for pro-Paleostinian candidates running for the US Congress.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has slammed Israel’s West Bank occupation, shocked the political world with her upset victory over veteran congressman Joe Crowley for his New York House seat.

#10  Let's put up a few billion for 'P-Retirement zones' for old dems, and 'P-Economic zones' for young ones. Move a few million to Palestine. My hunch is things would get very quiet.

#8  If you keep ordering the shit sandwich, don't be surprised when you have to eat shit.

#1 Ron Halper's theory that the majority of Dem's are pro Israel may be true for the rank and file but the activists are different - further left and more anti Israel

Actually, younger Dems are becoming increasingly anti- Israel as they become increasingly vibrant.

#5  Silly Question that. An ex-acquaintance (ex-friend as well, mores the pity) told me that he was a Atheist Socialist Jew and felt that Jerry Falwell, who had already been dead for years!, was an existential threat unlike Jihadists who would slaughter him just because he was a Jew.

#4  The world was supposed to erupt in war when we moved our embassy to Jerusalem.

I must've missed that?

#3   Jewish Democratic leaders deny a broader trend.

FIFY. Socialist first, all others just adjunct adjectives.

#2  Trump's fault. Yup! Has nothing to do with the anti-Semitism the Left has practiced since there was a thing as the political Left.
