| Russian diplomat rules out full-scale offensive on Syria’s Idlib |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] A Russian diplomat said that a large-scale military operation by the Syrian Army to storm the jihadi-held province of Idlib is ’out of question’. "I’d rather refrain from speaking about the city’s storming or a pending operation. There are too many rumors and they are ungrounded. Any large-scale operation in Idlib is out of the question", Russian president’s special envoy for Syria, Alexander Lavrentyev, said on Tuesday. Earlier, unconfirmed reports spoke of an expected military campaign to be launched against jihadi groups in Idlib after the conclusion of southwest Syria offensive. However, death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate... no official statements have yet been released by the Syrian Army Command on this regard. |
