(outlawed in Russia) are planning an offensive on positions of Syrian government troops, concentrating forces simultaneously on several directions, the chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties, Major General Alexei Tsygankov, told news hounds on Wednesday. "According to available information, the leaders of Hayyat Tahrir Ahrar al-Sham ...a Syria jihadi group made up of Islamists and salafists, not that there's that much difference, formed into a brigade. They make up the main element of the Islamic Front but they don't profess adoration of al-Qaeda and they've been fighting (mainly for survival) against the Islamic State. Their leadership was wiped out at a single blow by a suicide kaboom at a crowded basement meeting in September, 2014... , Jabhat Tahrir Suriya (formed as merger of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and Ahrar al-Sham), Suqour al-Sham and Falak al-Sham agreed to set up joint operational headquarters to conduct an attack on positions of government forces," the general said.
