Israel: No stomach for war?
2018-07-22
The view from Cairo, at length.
[AlAhram] According to Paleostinian analysts, Israel is exhausted by the March of Return and incendiary kites, but is not interested in all-out war.

There is calm and cautious anticipation in the Gazoo Strip since the Israeli cabinet authorised the occupation army to respond with military force to every paper plane or kite launched from Gazoo towards fields in Israel.

Paleostinian analysts agree it is unclear what the future holds, and everything is possible, especially after Israel refused a "truce" with Gazoo while incendiary kites fly overhead.

#4  the juices may be in a use-it-or-lose-it position when it comes to US support.

A very real concern to me, Matt.

#3  Maybe it's just half assed wars in which Hamas is allowed to continue their provocations that have tired the Juice. An all out war to get rid of Hamas for good might be just the thing for them.

#2  What would worry me if I were a Gazooki is that the juices may be in a use-it-or-lose-it position when it comes to US support. There is not likely to be a more pro-Israel occupant of the White House than there is now, or a secretary of defense who is a better warfighter. What would worry me if I were an Israeli -- or basically anyone who prefers civilization to barbarism-- is that one of the two major US political parties is coming pretty close to making anti-semitism an official part of its platform.
