WTF? Rosenstein orders Fed prosecutors to assist in reviewing Judge Kavanaugh docs
2018-07-12
[NYP] Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein asked federal prosecutors across the country to assist in reviewing documents of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump’s nominee for Supreme Court, a process that could delay his Senate confirmation, according to a report on Wednesday.
How does this compare to the vetting process of the last several Supreme Court nominees, and is it the deputy attorney general’s responsibility to initiate managing the process?
Rosenstein sent an email this week to the nation’s 93 US attorneys requesting each one to provide up to three prosecutors "who can make this important project a priority for the next several weeks," the New York Times reported.

The subject line of Rosenstein’s email read, "Personal Message to U.S. Attorneys from the Deputy AG."

Trump announced his selection of Kavanaugh in a prime-time television event on Monday night to replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy.
Will Mueller be brought in next? Where is the Attorney General? This vindictive fellow should have been fired a long time ago.

#26  Better question is how many convictions will be overturned as the systemic lying, frame ups and evidence tampering is revealed?

#25  if trump fires all those InJustice department flunkies and none are replaced or confirmed how many less people would be prosecuted?

#23  This is on Trump, McConnell and Ryan.

Trump is the guy that hired Sessionzzz in the first place.

And, "allegedly", Trump's been told that if he fires Jeffy, he won't get any replacement confirmed.

I don't understand enough about the mechanics of these things to know what other options Trump has.

Could he do a recess appointment before the swearing in of a new Congress in 2019?

Could he just fire everyone now and have de facto acting staff for DOJ while Congress twiddles its thumbs?

Could he fire everyone and dare Congress to leave DOJ unstaffed?

Anyone out there with insight?

#22  Jeffy Sessions comes across as one of those slightly inbred failing aristocracy drunks from a Faulkner novel. And since he doesn't drink that's saying something...

#21  Our DOJ does NOT need a notional AG or soft spoken, Alabama lawn jockey. He needs to go own down the road.

#20  After reading her bio and work history I am pretty much convinced Resenstein is part of the deep state cabal. I was hopeful he was not, not so much now.
I think it’s time for a new AG. Then clean house.

#19  #1 Naptime again for AG Sessions?

Oh, he's wide awake. He's just consumed with figuring out a way to make marijuana effectively illegal again.

#18  I’m flummoxed over what is the basis for dedicating this level of resources to no criminal or civil behavior. What product could this possibly produce that is relevant to the mission of the DOJ? An opinion about his ability as a judge? This is incomprehensible.

#17  At this point it's about diffusing responsibility as far and wide as possible. Trump has rightly focused on getting judges seated, not wasting his time on something like W's purge that cost us Gonzales' expertise. Kavanaugh is going to be confirmed and the only US Attorneys who are going to report any negative findings are people who are on their way out the door of their own volition anyway.

#16  The deep state is really coming out into the light. 279 prosecutors digging into anyone will find something. This poor guy is screwed.

#15  I was triggered by the Klingon picture. :)
She reminded me of one the Duras sisters, B'Etor or maybe Lursa, but upon reflection they looked better. Just my opinion of course.

#10  Call Hillary's groups, ask them to generate a 'creative' dossier, then give one of my prosecutors to front for it. We'll 'leak' it to the Legacy Infotainment Enterprises to plaster all over the media.

#9  Lisa Barsoomian, lawyer for the deep state and shadow government? Mob mouthpiece.

The Senate confirms, not Rosenstein. Fire him (for being a rat) and Sessons (for sleeping on the job).

#8  Instapundit's take "I’m not sure what this means, but my first thought is that he doesn’t trust people in DOJ headquarters to handle it."

#7  The Deep State is corrupt, therefore they believe everyone else is, too. All they need to do is dig hard enough and they'll find it.

#6  And there you have at least part of the answer for the Benghazi and Clinton debacles, the DNC Awan IT scandal, the neutering of Jeff Sessions, as well as the continuing Intelligence Community campaign against Donald J. Trump.

Residents of the "Imperial City," the Congress, and members of the "Professional Gov't" (as spoken about in the Daniel Greenfield video in today's Burg), are fully aware of these connections. Make no mistake, the Klingons really are in charge.

#5  Lisa H Barsoomian a US Attorney that graduated from Georgetown Law, she’s a protege of James Comey and Robert Mueller.

Barsoomian with her boss R. Craig Lawrence represented Bill Clinton in 1998

Lawrence also represented

Robert Muller three times

James Comey five times

Barack Obama 45 times

Kathleen Sebelius 56 times

Bill Clinton 40 times and

Hillary Clinton 17 times

Someone out there cares so much that the internet has been “purged” of all information pertaining to Barsoomian.

Historically this indicates that the individual is a protected CIA operative.

Additionally Lisa Barsoomian has specialized in opposing Freedom of Information Act requests on behalf of the intelligence community

And although Barsoomian has been involved in hundreds of cases representing the DC Office of the US Attorney her email address is Lisa Barsoomian at NIH gov.

The NIH stands for National Institutes of Health.

This is a tactic routinely used by the CIA to protect an operative by using another government organization to shield their activities.

It’s a cover, so big deal right, I mean what does one more attorney with ties to the US intelligence community really matter.

It deals with Trump and his recent tariffs on Chinese steel and aluminum imports, the border wall, DACA, everything coming out of California, the Uniparty unrelenting opposition to President Trump, the Clapper leaks, the Comey leaks,

Attorney General Jeff Sessions recusal and subsequent 14 month nap with occasional forays into the marijuana legalization mix…….

and last but not least Mueller’s never-ending investigation into collusion between the Trump team and the Russians

Between 1998 and 2017 Barsoomian herself represented the FBI at least five times

You may be saying to yourself, okay who cares, who cares about the work history of this Barsoomian woman?

Apparently someone does BECAUSE : Someone out there cares so much that they’ve “purged” all Barsoomian court documents for her Clinton representation in Hamburg vs. Clinton in 1998 and its appeal in 1999 from the DC District and Appeals court dockets (?)

Why does Barsoomian, CIA operative, merit any mention?
BECAUSE

She is Assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s WIFE

That’s why.
