#10 I’m afraid I haven’t seen much of this country at all, Sleaque Hatfield3418. But Alaska Paul is eminently sensible, and in the Jack London tales silly people die, so not being sensible in Alaska seems an unwise choice in Darwin’s playground. |

#9 I thought Alaska was supposed to be where sensible people live. Have you ever been there? |

#8 Every Democratic candidate for office should be publicly asked to answer the question, "How many genders are there?" |

#7 Good lord. From the article: In February the shelter turned away a biological male who identifies as a female. Shelter leadership said the individual was intoxicated. However, as a religious organization, they do not house biological men in its abused women’s shelter because doing so would traumatize abused and battered women. The transgender person filed a complaint against the shelter citing the policy over sexual orientation and gender identity. I thought Alaska was supposed to be where sensible people live. |

#4 That 'Equal Rights Commission' should be sued into oblivion - going after a law firm for defending a client? Out-fucking-rageous. |

#3 The Anchorage Equal Rights Commission filed a formal complaint against Brena, Bell & Clarkson, charging the law firm with committing “unlawful discriminatory acts or practices” in violation of a city ordinance regarding sex and gender identity. Mind-boggling. An ordinance against discriminating against Sex and gender? It a woman's homeless shelter for God's sake. Time to dump or rewrite the ordinance and dissolve another useless Commission. |

#2 ...Hmmmm. *Accuse Group A of 'discrimination' *Then accuse Group B of the same offense because they're providing Group A with their Constitutional right to a legal defense. How...Stalinist. Mike |
