Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Four people were maimed in a kaboom and an attack against military checkpoint in Baghdad, sources from the Iraqi Interior Ministry said on Thursday."A bomb placed inside a bus that transfers commuters, went off, in the evening, at the northern entrance gate of Baghdad, leaving two civilians maimed," one source told Baghdad Today website.
Moreover, another source said "a bomb went
kaboom!near a checkpoint of the Iraqi army in Abu Ghraib region, west of Baghdad, leaving a soldier and a civilian maimed."
Security troops, according to the sources, cordoned off the two blast scenes and prevented approaching, while the maimed were taken to hospital for treatment.
