Dhi Qar (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi court sentenced two suspects to death, and a third one to life in prison, for terrorism-related crimes in Baghdad, Dhi Qar and Diyala provinces. Spokesperson of the High Judicial Council, Abdul-Sattar Beyraqdar, said in a statement, said the criminal court in Dhi Qar province sentenced one of the pair to death, finding him guilty of practicing forced deportation and arson in Baghdad back in 2006.
A third defendant, who was sentenced to life, was found guilty of blowing a house with an IED, and carrying out an armed attack on another one in 2006 in Diyala.
