| Syrian Army cuts strategic rebel supply line in west Daraa |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) kicked off an operation along a new axis in western Daraa yesterday. Led by their elite Elite Republican Guard forces, the Syrian Arab Army began the operation by storming the Free Syrian Army ... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... ’s (FSA) positions at the large hilltop of Tal Zamitiyah. Not long after attacking this hilltop, the Syrian Arab Army was able to impose full control over Tal Zamitiyah after overwhelming the Free Syrian Army fighters in the area. As a result of this advance, the Syrian Army was able to impose fire control over the last rebel supply line from west Daraa to the eastern countryside of the province. |
