| Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Two soldiers were maimed in an armed attack against a security checkpoint, north of Diyala, a security source from the province said on Friday. Speaking to AlSumaria News, the source said "a joint security checkpoint at the outskirts of Hawi al-Udhaim region saw, last night, an armed attack by Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. The situation, according to the source, is under control as the whole region was combed to follow the holy warriors. |
