President Trump on Saturday morning tweeted that Venezuela is releasing an American hostage.The hostage "should be landing in [Washington, D.C.] this evening and be in the White House, with his family, at about 7:00 P.M.," the president tweeted at 9:22 a.m.
Joshua Holt, 26, from Utah has been held in a Venezuelan prison on allegations of spying for the U.S., according to reports. Holt was married to a Venezuelan woman who also was arrested when she came to visit him in prison.
"The great people of Utah will be very happy!" Trump stated.
