| [The Wire] In a virtue signaling stunt on Saturday, a former porn star decided to give up her shotgun after the recent school shooting in Texas, indicating that while she supports the Second Amendment she was sick and tired of the recent acts of violence that have dominated national headlines. In a series of tweets, Mia Khalifa claimed that she was "not against the 2nd amendment," but was against the deaths of children which led her to give up her shotgun, which she stored on the wall of her living room. Khalifa tweeted: "They couldn’t have made it easier. Thank you, @Austin_Police for picking up my weapon for safe destruction. This may not effect anyone but, but it’s symbolic. If all of us were to #DoSomething small, eventually it will add up and change the world." |
