| Syrian Army eliminates notorious jihadist commander in northwest Syria |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) eliminated a high ranking jihadist commander on Thursday after carrying out a powerful attack inside the al-Ghaab Plain. According to a military report, the Syrian Army killed the notorious commander of the Free Syrian Army ... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... ’s Islamic Freedom Brigade after they attacked the latter’s positions with an ATGM in the al-Ghaab Plain. The jihadist commander was identified as Uqba Kalash; he was killed alongside several of his fighters near Mansourah Road. The Islamic Freedom Brigade is the largest Free Syrian Army faction currently operating inside the al-Ghaab Plain of Idlib and Hama. |
