Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Over thirty people were killed and injured as a kaboom took place in north of Baghdad, a security source said on Wednesday.Speaking to Almaalomah website, the source said "a suicide kaboomer blew up himself in Heseiwa region in Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad."
The corpse count, according to the source, "went up to seven civilians, while the injured number reached 25 civilians."
"Security troops cordoned off the blast scene. The victims were taken to hospital, while the maimed were transferred to nearby hospital for treatment," the source added.
Earlier today, the Iraqi Security Media Center was quoted saying that an attacker targeted a "mourning ceremony" in Tarimiya, leaving a number of civilians dead and maimed.
