| Deputy commander of large FSA faction kidnapped in southern Idlib |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] The deputy commander of one of the largest Free Syrian Army ... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... (FSA) factions was kidnapped in the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate last night, pro-opposition activists reported. According to these pro-opposition activists, Hamza Qusays of Faylaq al-Rahman was kidnapped by unknown assailants while traveling down the Khan Sheikhoun Highway in southern Idlib on Monday. The commander was then taken to an unknown location. No group has grabbed credit for this kidnapping. Faylaq al-Rahman was transported from the East Ghouta to the Idlib Governorate last month; they were previously involved in a long battle against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). |
