They appear to have the Nork situation well in hand. What have the Norks got? An aviation museum of MiG-17, MiG-19, MiG-21, a squadron of MiG-29. Stuff that was junk when it was new, and are widow-makers to fly today.

I was surprised to see the F-4 is still in service somewhere. The F-5 too. Cool!

#4  ...When I was at Kunsan (Gunsan on the map), the RoKAF had their last squadron of F-86 Sabres stationed there too. Our F-16 drivers discovered real quick that you messed with the older birds at your peril.

#3  I think the purloined OPLANs sort of convinced the Norks that too. Either a change in attitude or the desperate need to buy a lot more time seemed a wiser course.

The ROK air force could wipe out the Nork air force in an afternoon and be at home in time to watch the news.
