Kelly implores DHS Secretary Nielsen - It was just an arse chewing, don't quit !
2018-05-12
[Breitbart] President Trump allegedly laid into Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen during a White House meeting, as border crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border continue to skyrocket, according to a new report.

In a cabinet meeting attended by advisers Stephen Miller, Kellyanne Conway, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Larry Kudlow, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Trump blasted Nielsen for failing to secure the southern border, the Washington Post reports:
Trump lashed out at his Cabinet, and Nielsen in particular, when told that the number of people arrested for illegally crossing the Mexico border topped 50,000 for the second consecutive month. The blowup lasted more than 30 minutes, according to a person with knowledge of what transpired, as Trump’s face reddened and he raised his voice, saying Nielsen needed to "close down" the border. [Emphasis added]

"Why don’t you have solutions? How is this still happening?" he said, adding later, "We need to shut it down. We’re closed." [Emphasis added]

Indeed, border crossings have continued to soar under Nielsen’s direction at DHS. For example, as Breitbart Texas reported, border crossings in March approached Obama-era levels of illegal immigration at the border. Last month, border crossings continued to increase, with nearly 40,000 illegal aliens crossing the border.

#9  We need big spooky guns on the border.

In a city park in a border state saw shattered pieces of a grill and a head light laying around the base of a tree along with two fresh reciepts of remittances to Guatemala. The tree was 50 yards from a big WWII sherman tank sitting in front of a National Guard facility as a monument or something. When the Guatemalan was cutting through the park and when his headlights lighted up that tank he made a hard right and crashed into a tree.

I put another notch on that old WWII tanks' gun barrel sitting in front of that Natińal Guard building.

#3  I seldom (not saying it never happened) went into a staff meeting NOT knowing I had an arse chewing coming. She's out of touch with the Chief of Staff, her boss, and possibly the mission. There should be no such staff meeting surprises. She was unprepared.

Tea leaves, read the damn things.

#2  At least attempt to meet your bosses clear objective. Why anyone would be surprised or unprepared to be criticized by a man who had a successful TV show firing people for not meeting expectations is a bigger concern Nielsen.

#1  Sorry, wrong person for the job. Unable to take criticism. Unable to provide answers. Her answer is 'fok it I quit.' She's now wounded and at some point, will turn on the boss. She needs to go.

Two men can have a 'knock down-drag out', call each other worthless SOB's, but at the end of the day have a beer and start tomorrow anew. It's a fairly well established gender difference. Just my observation over the past six decades or so, but I could be wrong.
