Calif. National Guard begins border training

[MAIL] SAN DIEGO (AP) - After a contentious standoff between the state and federal government, California National Guard troops started training Thursday with the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol to be camera operators, radio dispatchers, and to fill other support roles.

President Donald Trump ordered National Guard troops to deploy to the U.S.-Mexico border to help federal authorities combat illegal immigration and drug trafficking.

California's all-Democratic leadership has positioned the state as a national leader in battling the Trump administration, especially on immigration issues. Government leaders at the state level and in big cities have condemned mass raids and deportation efforts, President Donald Trump's call for a border wall with Mexico and Attorney General Jeff Sessions' "zero tolerance" order to prosecute people caught illegally entering the United States for the first time.

#3 ICE is gonna have to watch these people the whole time they're on duty. How reliable can they be if they're taking orders from Moonbeam? They might be more trouble than they're worth.

#1 I eagerly await the sub-division of California into three separate States. ( Don't know what names the three new States will choose...find that interesting and amusing. )

But three new states in place of that one... it would mean three separate Governors and three new Legislatures...and National Congress would need three new sets of Senators and lots of changes with the House of Representatives and at National Election time there would be new Electoral College voting positions.
And California would be a thing of the past.
Plus we could reasonably expect none of the three to agree on anything and we could watch them al squabble....loads of fun.

I can Dream, can't I?
