| Suicide attack target foreign forces convoy in Kandahar | |

| [KhaamaPress] A jacket wallah target a convoy of the foreign forces in southern Kandahar province at around noon time today leaving at least twenty civilians dead or maimed. The local officials are saying that a suicide bomber detonated his explosives near the vehicle convoy of the foreign forces in Daman district. According to the local officials, at least eleven non-combatants were killed and nine others were maimed in the attack. Sixteen other people were maimed, including foreign and Afghan security force members, when a bomb-laden car went kaboom!in the southern province of Kandahar, provincial police front man Qasim Afghan told AFP. Kandahar governor front man Said Aziz Ahmad Azizi confirmed the casualty toll. He said five Romanian soldiers and two Afghan coppers were among the injured. | |
