| Kabul police rejects rumors regarding the discovery of mass grave |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Kabul police officials have rejected the rumors regarding the discovery of a mass grave as the reports have caused panic among some residents of the capital. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials said reports and rumors circulate on social media sites suggesting that a mass grave has been discovered in capital Kabul. The officials further added that such reports are not true and are baseless as no mass grave has been found in the capital. Reports regarding the discovery of a mass grave in Kabul emerge as similar graves have been found in the capital and other parts of the country in the past. Such graves normally contain the victims who were killed during the civil war although mass graves of the victims of terror groups have also been found during the recent months and years. |
