Flaming kite from Gaza sets Israeli warehouse ablaze

A warehouse in Israel’s south was set aflame Saturday after a kite equipped with a flaming rag that had been intentionally released by Paleostinians in the Gazoo Strip landed there.

Firefighters managed to put out the fire, according to Ynet.

No casualties were reported, but heavy damage was caused to the warehouse.

#2  Well... Gaza a lot of beachfront area and nice, steady, ocean breezes blowing. I bet a good-sized kite can go more than 100 meters.

The area would be ripe for vacation resort development if it wasn't, you know, teeming with Palestinians.

#1  Max range for a kite is about a football field, that warehouse must be very close to the border.
