| #3 ...but they can detain till the ICE reps show up. You breach a military installation boundary, they'll hold you till the federal LEO show up to escort you off. An EO defining any land one mile within the border, not incorporated by civil authorities, as a military zone falling under existing rules governing military installations would cover a multitude of options in military utilization. Lot of Bureau of Land Management property along that border. |

| #2 They'll have no authority to arrest or detain, though. Posse Comitatus Act and all that, unless it's National Guard and under a state's authority. |
