[ALMASDARNEWS] On Saturday, al-Qaeda-linked jihadist murderous Moslems in northern Idlib province attempted to break through government lines at the long-besieged Shiite-majority towns of Fouaa and Kafraya.The assault, described as an infiltration operation by local military-affiliated sources who first reported the event, was stopped dead in its tracks by local Syrian pro-government troops defending both towns.
Within a very brief engagement time, local Syrian forces bumped off at least 15 jihadists. The remaining al-Qaeda attackers were sent running from the battlefield under a hail of machine gun and mortar fire.
