[ALMASDARNEWS] Footage from the Russian Defence Ministry shows MiG-31 fighter jet pilots carrying out the practical training and combat launch of a missile from the latest hypersonic ’Kinzahl’ missile system, from an airfield in the Southern Military District on Saturday. The fighter jet launched the hypersonic missile from the stratosphere, before it successfully hit its target in the range. The launch offered confirmation on both the tactical and technical characteristics and parameters of the high-precision missile Kinzhal system. The interceptor aircraft set off from an airfield in the Southern Military District in order to carry out pilot-combat duty training. |
