#3 Actually stories like this give me a 'Feel Good' because as a culture we are rich enough to explore. The author probably read somewhere 'First naval engagement without surface ships ever seeing each other" and "CV lost" then had their boo-boo because of zero knowledge of military WW2 history. |

#1 The Lexington was the first aircraft carrier to be sunk in history.Layers of editors...(*Snort*) The Japanese had lost the CVL Shōhō two days earlier in the same battle(!). The UK had already lost four (4!) carriers in action by this date. |
