Twitter Twit's Heads Explode as German figure skater skates to Schindler's List's score
2018-02-23
[MAIL] A German figure skater has caused an uproar on social media after she performed to the score of the film Schindler's List.

Nicole Schott chose the beloved 1993 Holocaust film's theme song, titled Theme from Schindler's List, for her long program on Thursday night at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

The film became a trending topic on Twitter as users accused the 21-year-old of insensitivity and tastelessness over her music choice.

While some Twitter users commented that no one should be skating to the somber movies' music at all, many pointed out that a German skater, particularly, should have considered the choice more carefully.

Considering the fact that most leftists are rabid...

#6   the joke dont work in Americanish

Heh. Two peoples, divided by their common language.

I'm also going to go with Why???, because it's not clear to me that skating to a movie theme is a big deal. Unless we have reached some cultural low point X where for any damn X you can think of, someone is outraged about it. In which case, the correct response is "Bite me!"

Her 'accusers' are misguided and wrong... in my opinion. The heroic exploits of Oskar Schindler should never be forgotten.

#2  Why???

Please explain. Much potentially good dialogue is lost in one word comments. Emphasis on 'potentially good.'
