On the subject of press freedom and terror, Erdogan appeared to accuse journalists of aiding and abetting forces of Evil through their writing.
"Terror and forces of Evil have gardeners," Erdogan is reported as saying. "They do not appear by themselves. They water from their columns on newspapers. One day these people appear in front of you as terrorists."
