(ISIS) continued their offensive along the Hama-Idlib axis this weekend, targeting the defensive positions of the al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham
rebel group at the large hilltop of Tal Zaghbaq.According to pro-opposition media, ISIS attacked Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham’s positions, tonight, at the southern slope of Tal Zaghbaq.
The pro-opposition media added that ISIS controlled the hill for several hours before Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham launched a counter-assault to recover all the territory they lost tonight.
Both jihadist groups are believed to have lost several fighters during tonight’s battle, including many members of the Islamic State group.
