[ALMASDARNEWS] A tribal commander from the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has allegedly defected to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), several pro-government pages reported on Friday.The commander was identified as Yasser al-Dahleh; he was the tribal leader of the al-Bakara tribe in the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
According to pro-government pages, Dahleh was able to defect to the Syrian Army’s side with help from Iraq’s Hashd al-Sha’abi (Popular Mobilization Units).
