were able to beat back another powerful attack by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) at the strategic town of al-Rahjan in northeast Hama.Led by the Qalamoun Shield forces of the 3rd Division, the Syrian Arab Army began the day by storming the surrounding hilltop and farms of al-Rahjan.
The Syrian Army would manage to take control of al-Rahjan Hill and its corresponding farms after a breaking through Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham’s front-lines.
Once these sites were captured, the Syrian Army entered al-Rahjan from its southern axis; however, this advance would be short-lived as the jihadist rebels mounted an important counter-attack.
Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham would manage to recapture all of the territory they lost and restore control over al-Rahjan.
