Taliban’s most senior group member killed in Helmand province

The officials further added that the senior Taliban leader, identified as Mullah Nasir, was killed in Musa Qala district of the province.

The provincial government media office in a statement also confirmed the killing of Mullah Nasir and said he was appointed as the deputy shadow governor of the group for Helmand.

The statement further added that Mullah Nasir was also in charge of the military affairs of the group and was killed along with three others in the airstrike.

According to the provincial government, Mullah Nasir was also involved in planning and coordinating suicide kabooms in Helmand and other parts of the country. ’

The Helmand government also accused Mullah Nasir of forced grabbing of land in this province.

The anti-government armed murderous Moslem groups including the Taliban bandidos krazed killers have not commented regarding the report so far.

This comes as heavy airstrikes are underway in different parts of Helmand province with main focus being the destruction of the Taliban drug labs.

(NDS) said in a statement on Sunday.

Shah Wali was appointed as the deputy Taliban’s shadow governor for Helmand and commander of the red group by Mullah Mana, the group’s shadow governor three years ago, the statement said added that "he was involved in attack operations."

"In addition to his involvement in blasts and attack operations, he also had a hand in drug-smuggling and land-grabbing in different parts of the province. He was also involved in fighting against security forces in Ghor, Badghis Uruzgan provinces, Maiwand and Ghorak districts of Kandahar province," the NDS said.

"During the operation, a suicide kaboomer, two other commanders of the group were also killed," the statement added. No further details were provided.

The Taliban have not yet confirmed the news.
