launched a powerful counter-attack in the southern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate, today, targeting the towns they recently lost to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham began the attack by storming the town of al-Ramleh, which was not well-defended by the Syrian Army and NDF troops there.
The jihadist group managed to recapture al-Ramleh after the SAA and NDF troops at the town were forced to retreat to nearby Abisan and ’Azizah.
According to a Syrian military source, HTS is now attacking the aforementioned towns in a bid to recapture everything they lost over the last 24 hours.
